“When I let go of who I am I become who I might be” Tao Tze

See below for the update, below comments, 5 years on. The following was written in 2010 🙂

Seventeen years ago I had a clear picture of who I wanted to be.

I had just separated from my husband of 20 years and together we had two boys aged 2 and 5. I had no job outside the home or, until then, no clear vision as to where I, personally, wanted to go having been fully immersed in motherhood for the last 5 years.  A fine balance of unprecedented joy and mental, emotional and physical challenge. With the help of a good friend I began looking forward at where I wanted to go and who I wanted to be.  That picture became a reality. Today I am that woman. I feel her, think her and behave just the way I had pictured. The journey was steep at times but I was led to all the appropriate teachers to learn what I needed to learn to become ‘her’.

I have a picture of who I want to be in the future. I know I can do it because I’ve seen it and felt it before. Because I have done it I know you can because we are all the same intrinsically. We are all equally capable at that level. My commitment to you is to assist you to know this. To know you can be whoever you want to be and do whatever you can imagine by releasing what’s in the way to becoming. Of course you are already the most perfect you there is, just the way you are, however, if something’s not working for you just say what you’d rather and see what happens.

Over the past 25 years I have trained in many modalities and, together with the experience of working with thousands of people over that time,  I have developed Authentic Living –  A dynamic whole Body/Mind approach to healing and becoming.

I invite you to begin this wonderful journey with me. The healing of the Body, Mind and Heart begins now and continues with your commitment to yourself. The journey begins when you say “Yes, I am ready to step into the next phase of my life.”  There is never anything wrong with where you are,  only the willingness to keep moving forward to live the best possible life you can whilst adding value to others from the best possible place within you.

Making an intention to love the life you live and to live with passion, will guide you to the places and people you need to achieve this.  A Zen proverb explains….‘When the student is ready the teacher appears’.

Love it Gabriella, and LOVE YOUR WORK….
Of all the spiritual/mental/NLP/energy work, etc, I’ve done over the years, I can gladly say that your Sessions are so Amazing!!!!! and not always what I expect. Always get shifts inside from every session (unlike traditional therapy as we know).
Hope to see you again b4 your trip overseas.
    Love you heaps,
    Ivan

    This is beautiful Gabby,

Thank you for being the inspiring woman you are. By taking on your life, you push me, ever so gently and lovingly to take on my own, to be the woman I know I am and to do what it is I am here for – to share with people through words – whether that be my blog or books – who knows but bring on the next stage of the journey. Love you my wonderful friend. Thinking of you often as you soak up Italy. Look forward to reading more of your blogs. Take care.

    Love Lee

Reblogged this on Authentic Living and commented:

I wrote the following blog 5 years ago. 5 years on I couldn’t have said it any better…and I have created the next phase of my life since. Oh my gosh I’ve done it. It takes tenacity, trust, and lots of reframing plus loving yourself enough to keep visualising the life you can feel, touch and taste. The unconscious mind doesn’t know the difference between real and imagined.. so imagine away my friends. Reach out for it because you are the creator in every thought you have. Delete the doubts and the mistrusting thoughts and re envision what you want. Do it every day in every way. It works!!
I am reblogging because I really want to let everyone know that Dreams really do come true!! It’s up to you!
